Spectacular Wedding Cake Table made of Ice for a Beautiful Black and White Winter Wedding Cake

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Sims who married at the beautiful Ridgecrest Conference Center.   I didn't get to see the bride before the wedding, but the guests and family members were mingling around, and it was so lovely to hear them speak of them.  The room was filled with love for this couple.

Thanks so much for honoring me by having me play such an important role in your big day!  And what a way for me to close out the wedding season.  A beautiful black and white cake with red roses, perfect for a December wedding.

And WOW!  I would like to extend a very special thanks to Masterpiece Ice Sculptures for this stunning cake table made of ice!

Winter Begins December 21st.

Winter is a welcome since that grants me permission to turn on the oven and leave it until I’m tired of baking…   instead of just taking care of the necessities.  Winter also specifies chocolate covered cherries and fruit cake that everyone has but no one eats.  Moreover, winter brings peppermint candy which is sometimes covered in white chocolate.

Let us not forget that it will sometimes snow… and that brings hot chocolate with little tiny marshmallows.  It means Christmas is coming around the corner and with it brings the yearly event of decorating cookies, mainly in red and green.  It is the time of year that everyone thinks about baking, and “homemade” brings special joy to the season.
